JESSICA: I have really thick gums that hung down kind of over my teeth and made my teeth look like they were misshapen. So he did crown lengthening and laser gum lifting where he basically just shaved away layers of my gum with a laser. And I had it all done without any pain or any pain medication at all. So it really wasn't uncomfortable, I didn't have any pain during the procedure or afterwards. It was just a quick process in terms of a surgery. It was probably a couple of hours because he takes his time and makes sure it looks exactly how you want it to. He doesn't quit until you're happy with the end procedure. So this had definitely made me a believer in laser dentistry. Because like I said, I had tried everything else. I had had all the metal work done, I had had all the more extensive surgeries and they just didn't work for me. They were more painful; recovery time was a lot longer. Then laser surgery, which seems simple, I was kind of a doubter at first. How is this really going to help me in the end? But it gave me the results I wanted, the recover time was so much quicker and it's exactly the smile that I wanted. So it definitely made me a believer in laser cosmetic surgery.
